Murphy Says Restaurants Could Open Ahead of Schedule
As New Jersey prepares to allow outdoor dining at eateries starting June 15, Gov. Phil Murphy said Tuesday he hopes the state will reopen indoor dining with restrictions soon if its coronavirus outbreak continues to steadily decline.
“I hope we’re at indoor dining sooner than later,” Murphy said during his daily coronavirus briefing in Trenton. “That’s more complicated. Indoors, lacking ventilation, sedentary, close proximity is harder. And we have to accept that.”
