WCRE Strengthens Research & Advisory Team with Addition of Trey Hicks

Former Division I Basketball Captain Joins Growing Research Department as Andrew Koller Takes on Expanded Leadership Role

Trey HicksWolf Commercial Real Estate (WCRE | CORFAC International) is pleased to announce the addition of Trey Hicks as Research Analyst, further strengthening the firm’s research capabilities and its commitment to providing data-driven support across brokerage, property management, marketing, and advisory services.

Hicks joins WCRE with a strong background in finance, real estate analysis, and relationship management. He earned his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate from Longwood University, where he also received his undergraduate degree in Finance, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Through his graduate studies and commercial real estate coursework, Hicks developed experience in underwriting, valuation, financial modeling, and market analysis across several asset classes. His analytical background will support WCRE professionals in evaluating market conditions, property performance, investment opportunities, and other client-driven research initiatives.

While at Longwood, Hicks was also a member of the Men’s Division I Basketball Team and served as team captain. During his collegiate career, the team captured two conference championships and made two NCAA March Madness appearances. Hicks is also a graduate of The Hill School.

Most recently, Hicks served as a John McLendon Leadership Fellow with Duke University Athletics. In that role, he supported capital formation efforts for Duke Athletics’ $50 million-plus annual fund while helping cultivate donor and stakeholder relationships. He also assisted with marketing and game-day operations for more than 15 major events, including NCAA March Madness and the 2025 NCAA Field Hockey National Championship.

At WCRE, Hicks will join the firm’s research department under Andrew Koller, who has been promoted to Director of Research. Hicks will immediately contribute to research and analysis supporting WCRE’s brokerage, marketing, property management, and advisory teams.

“Trey brings a combination of analytical ability, financial acumen, leadership, and a genuine eagerness to learn and contribute,” said Jason Wolf, Managing Principal of WCRE. “As our platform continues to grow, having strong research capabilities behind our professionals is increasingly important. Trey is a great addition to the team, and we’re excited to see him grow alongside Andrew and the rest of the firm.”

The addition also marks the continued growth of WCRE’s research department. In his expanded role as Director of Research, Koller will oversee the firm’s research initiatives while continuing to provide market intelligence and analytical support across WCRE’s service lines.

“I chose WCRE because of the people and the culture,” said Hicks. “Having already seen how the team operates, I know this is a place that invests in its people, competes at a high level, and puts clients first. It feels a lot like being part of a championship team, and I’m excited to contribute right away.”

Outside of the office, Hicks remains an avid sports fan and enjoys playing basketball, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.

WCRE is proud to welcome Trey Hicks and continue investing in the people and resources that strengthen the firm’s full-service commercial real estate platform. His addition, alongside Koller’s promotion, further enhances WCRE’s ability to provide clients and professionals with the research, market intelligence, and analytical support needed to make informed real estate decisions.
