Alicia Lukens joins WCRE as the Property Accountant with the Property Management Team. Alicia is responsible for managing all financial transactions and record-keeping related to the properties managed by the firm, along with the financial reporting to investors and all related parties.
Alicia brings over two decades of accounting experience, with a diverse background across real estate, property management, non-profit, and corporate sectors. Throughout her career, Alicia has built a reputation for streamlining financial operations and delivering accurate, timely reporting. She has successfully led accounting functions for organizations ranging from real estate development and investment firms to non-profit agencies and Fortune 500 companies. She has frequently taken on leadership roles, including acting as HR Director and Benefits Administrator, and has played a critical part in audit readiness, compliance reporting, and improving internal financial processes.
At several organizations, Alicia led the implementation and optimization of accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, AppFolio, and Sage, helping streamline month-end close cycles and improve real-time reporting capabilities. She has also played a critical role in audit preparedness—working closely with external auditors and tax professionals to ensure timely, clean audits and regulatory compliance.
