Marking a significant milestone, WCRE | CORFAC International (WCRE) proudly marked its 11th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, continuing its tradition of giving back to the community and supporting local families in need.
This year’s food drive, WCRE collected 250 bags/boxes of non-perishable food and $4,100 in supermarket gift cards and donations, all of which were donated to the Samost Jewish Family and Children’s Service Food Pantry in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

For eleven years, WCRE has rallied support from friends, clients and colleagues across the Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey region to benefit this vital resource. The JFCS Food Pantry, which serves families in Gloucester, Camden and Burlington Counties, provides a critical aid to those experiencing food hardships – a challenge intensified by rising grocery prices due to inflation. Currently, the pantry serves an average of 105 families weekly, with demand for food which increased by 30%. Notable, 70% of the families served by the pantry are of non-Jewish faith, emphasizing its inclusive mission to support the broader community.
“WCRE has been a steadfast partner in our mission to support families in need, and their efforts this year have been extremely helpful,’ said Meri Seligman, Director Rhona Fischer Family Assistance Program of Samost Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Southern New Jersey. “With rising food costs and increased demand, their contributions make a tangible difference in the lives of countless individuals. We are deeply grateful to the WCRE team and their network of supports for their continued support.”
This year’s food drive brought together contributions from a variety of local businesses and welcomed
donations from new supports, highlighting the collective strength of the community and amplifying the call to support a greater cause.
In addition to the annual food drive, WCRE dedicates a portion of transaction proceeds to various local charities and organizations. The establishment of the WCRE Foundation of 2016 has increased these efforts, raising over $810,000 to date.
WCRE and the WCRE Foundation proudly support several local organizations, including Bancroft, Ronald McDonald House of South Jersey, The American Cancer Society, I AM ALS, Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice and the Jewish Federation of South Jersey. While these are our primary philanthropic partners, our support exceeds to many other organizations, reflecting our commitment to making a broad and meaningful impact. Additionally, WCRE offers clients the opportunity to designate their charitable portion of their transaction proceeds to a nonprofit organization of their choice.
As WCRE celebrates 12 years of community commitment, the company remains deeply dedicated to making a positive and lasting impact in the communities it serves, demonstrating how businesses can play a pivotal role in fostering hope and support to those in need.
