The Pennsylvania Senate on Wednesday unanimously passed a measure that would allocate $145 million in grants to small businesses including taverns and restaurants throughout the state by establishing a Hospitality Industry Recovery Program.
The hospitality-focused grants are part of a larger $912 million Covid-19 relief measure laid out in Senate Bill 109, sponsored by Sen. Joe Pittman (R-41). The bill also allocates $569.8 million for rental and utility assistance and $197 million for education programs.
